About this product
The Datalogic QuickScan QD2500 is a corded handheld 2D imager designed for the modern retail counter. Its 1 MP optics read even challenging codes — damaged, poorly printed or low-contrast barcodes and electronic coupons on smartphone screens — while omnidirectional scanning works from any angle to keep queues moving.
It reads 1D, 2D, postal, stacked and composite barcodes, dot codes and Digital Watermark codes. Datalogic's distinctive LED-based aiming system delivers precise, error-free targeting, and the signature 'Green Spot' projects direct good-read confirmation onto the code. Multi-interface support spans USB (including USB-C), RS-232 and Keyboard Wedge for easy integration with any POS system.
Built to survive high-traffic environments, the QD2500 withstands over 10 million trigger presses and 1.5 m (5 ft) drops to concrete, and it scans effortlessly through plexiglass barriers for hygienic, contactless interactions. Available in black or white, as scanner-only or USB kits with standard or tilting stands.
